Our Story
Would you believe it if we told you that we met the “old fashioned way,” aka through friends? Yes, a girl from Nashville and a boy from Long Island ended up having mutual friends!
Funny enough, we casually met at a University of Miami tailgate (Go Canes!) in Fall 2018, but both of us don’t remember it. They say timing is everything, and we believe we are an example of that.
We “officially” met on June 12, 2021 when our friends, Kevin and Laurel, were kind enough to arrange a dinner in New York City for us to meet. The idea for us to meet came from Lindsey watching a video of Pat singing karaoke, specifically “Shake Ya Tailfeather,” that Laurel shared to her SnapChat. Lindsey immediately messaged Laurel asking who Pat was and expressing interest. Laurel got to work asking Pat if he would be interested in meeting Lindsey and he agreed.
After that friends dinner, we were pretty keen to see where this could go. So two weeks later, Pat took the LIRR out to Port Jefferson for their first, solo date. The date consisted of a couple beers at Port Jeff Brewing Company and then dinner at a casual seafood restaurant along the water - the perfect combination, if you ask us.
After a successful first date, Lindsey decided to invite Pat out to her very small apartment in Rocky Point for 4th of July weekend. Of course, he had to pass the Shadow test, and he did with flying colors! From that weekend, we have been inseparable, and dare we say -- in love.
We find it very serendipitous that the weekend we will be bringing all of our loved ones together from all stages of life and corners of the country to celebrate our marriage in Nashville will be exactly 5 years from that first dinner in New York City.

Welcome to Nashville
We have secured room blocks at three different hotels, two next to each other in downtown Nashville and one in Hendersonville, TN (very close to the wedding venue!).
The room blocks are for three nights, Thursday - Sunday. For those who would like to book rooms for shoulder dates, you should book June 11th-14th online and then call the hotel to see if they can accommodate your requests.
